Taking inspiration from the party tradition of ‘doing a turn’ and our love of a ceilidh, TwentySomething presents the first edition of THE TURN, an exciting new evening of performance, spoken word, dance and music.

In this first edition, some of Edinburgh’s brightest performers, writers and musicians have come together to share work under the theme of SPEAK.

Speaking up, speaking out, finding our voices and using them for good – or ill – free speech, hate speech, lost languages and new dialects, speaking without any words at all, private conversation and continuous broadcasting to the world – they’ve all got something to say, and they want you to hear it.
